Rayanne Hunter

Personal Trainer | Owner

I’m Rayanne, creator of RH Fitness & Wellness. R = Rayanne, H = Hunter combined with what we offer, more fitness and wellness… so it just makes sense, right!? I like to keep things simplistic and approachable.

I’m an ISSA (International Sports and Science Association) Certified Personal Trainer and NSFA (Nova Scotia Fitness Association) Group Fitness Leader. I also hold certifications in various specialties like TRX Suspension Training, Spin, Pre and Post Natal exercise design, Agatsu Kettlebell, Kickboxing and foam rolling. 

I have always had a passion for fitness. Caring and helping others comes naturally to me – so in 2012 I decided to make a career out of this wonderful thing! I have trained in several gyms and studios in the past decade, and opened RH Fitness & Wellness in 2018. I’m so excited, and so ready for this growth and opportunity. I look forward to empowering you to be your healthiest self in our new Fitness Center in SUMMER 2022!

Nicole Nephin

Personal Trainer

Health, fitness, and wellness are my passions. I haven't always been athletic and I didn't truly enjoy exercise until I was 30. Now, I can't imagine my life without it and the many benefits it has brought to both my physical and mental health. My favourite physical activities are yoga, strength training, and hiking (especially by the ocean). I'm a Mom of one, I love animals, being outdoors, and cooking.

I am excited to be a member of the RH Fitness & Wellness team and I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.

Saba Chishti

Fitness Instructor

Saba is a trained Physiotherapist with over 17 years of experience in the health and wellness industry graduating from the Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy in 2007. Her National certifications include: Yoga Fit Level I, II, III. Saba has been involved in competitive sports since a young age and has always had a focus on injury prevention through proper strength, mobility and flexibility training. Currently Saba maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys tennis, biking, golf, and yoga. If she isn't in the gym or on the mat she is probably on her stand up paddle board or on a vacation down south!

Saba’s classes Vinyasa style based, you can expect fluid transitions from one movement to the next working on core stability, spinal and joint mobility with a focus on overall strength and balance. You can expect a warm up, a work phase and a cool down combined with a final relaxation and meditation. All levels are welcome with modifications and options offered throughout the class. Please bring a water bottle and towel with you, see you on the mat!

Jody Rice Gallagher

Fitness Instructor

Jody is a life long athlete who has been involved in sports her entire life. After playing multiple sports as a teen, she became interested in taekwondo. While training for her first black belt in taekwondo she discovered yoga. After being a yoga student for almost 15 years and getting a second degree black belt, Jody obtained her 200hr YTT certification through Halifax Yoga in 2015. She has taught yoga ever since graduating from the program. In the fall of 2020, Jody completed her TPBHFX Method Barre Teacher Training. 

Jody believes that movement and maintaining strength and flexibility is important for all people. No matter their age, size or ability everyone is welcomed in her classes. Her goal is to make you smile while making you sweat!

Janine Rowlings

Fitness Instructor

Janine is passionate about connecting people through movement. She believes through movement we can find peace within ourselves, to allow for peace with others and the world.

Dance and theatre is where Janine's love for movement began before she branched out to various sports and worked in outdoor recreation. Yoga, fitness, dance and nature are her favourite things and she feels most inspired while combining them through mind body connections. Janine believes fitness & yoga are for everyBODY and is committed to empower others to listen to their bodies through inclusive, mindful, playful teaching. Janine is consistently evolving her movement education, her two most recent being: group fitness instructor and pre-natal yoga teacher training. Her teaching style is fun & relaxed, yet challenging and often accompanied by an awesome playlist to leave you feeling inspired.

Jeannie Ward

Fitness Instructor

Jeannie as been teaching group fitness classes for a little over 8 years and loves her job! She has taught classes to a wide variety of people from varying of fitness levels and strives to make classes inclusive and fun for all! Jeannie is certified to teach Bootcamp, Hiit, Zumba, Piloxing and Yoga. In her spare time you can find her hiking the trails and reading on the beach.
